Screen Pages acquires Clockworx

Screen Pages, the leading ecommerce agency, has acquired Clockworx Design, the interactive agency founded in 1995.
Screen Pages is a leader in providing ecommerce and online services to the mail order/catalogue home shopping sector. The company features in the New Media Age 100 and recently received the ECMOD Supplier of the Year award to the mail order industry. Its clients include Fat Face, Corgi, House of Bath, White Stuff, Floris, Carluccio’s and Savile Row.
Clockworx offers internet and ecommerce services to a number of blue chip clients including Thorntons, Sekonda, and Bunches Florapost.
Screen Pages has evolved considerably over the past two years: its ecommerce business has increased 30% in the past year and its recently strengthened management team sees scope for continued growth. At the same time, major steps have been taken to streamline operations and improve service levels. The acquisition strengthens Screen Pages position in the market place and Clockworx’s clients will have access to a wider range of online technical and marketing skills.
Roger Willcocks, managing director of Screen Pages said: "This is an important move for Screen Pages: we have built an infrastructure and management team which can support significant growth in business levels. Strategic acquisitions are definitely part of our plans in a market which will see a lot of consolidation in the next few years. Clockworx has a strong reputation for creativity, quality and service and we are looking forward to working with its staff and clients.”
Robin Edwards, Clockworx’ founder, said: "I have every confidence that Clockworx’s clients will benefit from this transaction. Screen Pages has significant depth and breadth and an excellent profile in the marketplace and the business’ long-term interests are best served by being part of a larger organisation.”
