Good Music beefs up website and adds Music Man weblog for musical and movie nostalgia

– Haysbridge (UK) Ltd, the music and movies of yesteryear mail order company known in the trade as Good Music, has completed an overhaul of its website to improve site usability, community orientation and site traffic.

The website, at http://www.goodmusic.co.uk, is designed and delivered as a fully bespoke e-commerce website by Pindar Screen Pages (http://www.pindar.com/ecommerce).

The re-launched website features many “best practice” online retailing techniques, such as:

• Improved navigation and search
• Redesigned checkout to improve site conversions and reduce basket drop-offs
• Datafeeds to Froogle and Affiliate Window for traffic generation

Music Man

Good Music has included a weblog in its site (at http://www.goodmusic.co.uk/weblog), designed as a community networking vehicle for a broader audience with a taste for nostalgia and who appreciate the music and movie classics of yesteryear. Edited by Ed Shanaphy, Haysbridge (UK) Limited’s managing director under the character of Music Man, the blog contains news, personal views and commentary. The blog will also increase Good Music’s search engine rankings.

Haysbridge (UK) Ltd, established in 1992 with its Music & Memories catalogue, has doubled its internet revenue year on year in April and May. The company’s website now accounts for over 10% of all revenues and the goal of the current board of directors is to increase this to 20% by year’s end.
