Pindar Graphics broadens e-commerce offering through Acorn E-commerce acquisition
Pindar Graphics, the UK’s largest independent printer and multi channel publishing business has acquired Acorn E-commerce, extending its suite of e-commerce services to a wider range of customers.
Existing e-commerce services provided by Pindar Graphics, formerly Screen Pages, acquired just under a year ago, has focused more on the larger customer and provided fully bespoke and integrated e-commerce websites.
The Acorn offering stands out in the market as a product which is geared to the needs of the smaller retailer, producing well executed websites relatively quickly and easily at an affordable cost. In addition, it is a fully online self-service platform that offers great flexibility and ease of maintenance/updates.
“We were aware of Acorn’s work through some of its customers such as Mankind, Gardening Express, Menkind to name but a few of its 100+ customers,” explains Roger Willcocks,Director of Pindar Graphics. “We were impressed with the robust yet easily accessible technology that Acorn had developed behind these organisations’ online stores. Acorn has proven expertise in the marketplace and offers a very saleable product.”
