Homebody launches e-commerce website designed and built by Pindar Graphics

British luxury lifestyle brand HomeBody and its maternity arm, HomeMummy has launched a transactional website. The new website has been designed and built by Pindar Graphics.
The new website, at http://www.homebodylondon.co.uk, has been designed and delivered as a fully bespoke e-commerce website by Pindar Graphics (http://www.pindar.com/ecommerce).
HomeBody was founded in 1998 by former sculptress, Beverley Calvert, who identified a gap in the market for beautifully designed yet functional clothing. With a brief to provide wardrobe solutions for women from am to pm, the collection was an immediate hit and now has over 100 stockists, including Selfridges, Harrods and many top boutiques in the UK and Neiman Marcus and Saks in the USA. The latest brand extension is the maternity brand, HomeMummy, whose appeal has been instant, already accounting for 40% of sales and the collection has achieved major celebrity following.

The site offers women’s, men’s and maternity product ranges, organised by category and favourites: it has been designed to provide clear, easy-to-follow navigation, present the product in the best light and make it easy to transact. In addition, goals for the website included:
• Clean design, focussing on the photography and navigation
• Customer favourites, cross-sells, style tips and sizing information
• Wholesale, stockist and press pages (look book, listings, press releases)
• Integrated with Prologic for sales order processing and inventory management
“We are delighted with the website: feedback has been very positive.” says Calvert. “We knew that Pindar had a lot of experience with fashion and clothing brands: our confidence that Pindar could design a site which would bring our three ranges under one roof in an easy-to-use, well-designed fashion has been well rewarded.”
