Kettlewell Colours launches new women’s clothing website

Kettlewell Colours, the women’s clothing mail order business, has re-launched its transactional website at http://www.kettlewellcolours.co.uk. The new e-commerce website has been designed and developed by Screen Pages.
Kettlewell was founded by husband and wife team, John and Melissa Nicholson in December 2004, when they saw a niche in the market for good quality t-shirts. Understanding that finding the perfect t-shirt can be difficult; the company's aim is to offer a choice of colour and style, unavailable on the high street. Now, the company sells a range of popular styles (tops, skirts, t-shirts, dresses and scarves) – where nearly every style is available in up to 16 attractive colours varying in tone from bright to soft and cool to warm.

The new website’s capabilities include:
- Large, lifeystyle photography from Kettlewell’s catalogue
- “Boden-style” size, colour and availability and selection grid
- Styling tips, image zooms and cross-sells
- Filtered search and navigation
- Single page checkout with online card authorisation via Commidea
- Implemented on popular Magento platform
- Full content management via Magento Administration Panel
- Integration with MNP Order Active back office for stock availability and order processing

John Nicholson, Director of Kettlewell Colours, said: “We have managed to develop a reasonable level of sales online without much investment. Now we are seeking to expand this sales channel with a better, richer and more flexible platform. Screen Pages’ experience and friendly, consultative style combined with the excellent Magento platform will prove an ideal combination.”
Sarah Willcocks, director of Screen Pages, said: “Kettlewell’s strengths are quality materials, well designed styles and a fantastic range of colours – this simple formula has helped it thrive over the past few years. We’re really excited about taking this effective mail order brand and proposition and working with Kettlewell to expand its online sales.”
