The link was Forgot Password. It was the login form for the site. It's a form users encounter all the time. How could they have problems with it?"...

Online shipping charges - free is best
Delivery costs are a huge factor in whether people choose to buy online or offline. Almost one-fifth of all shoppers (17%) report that when they choose to buy something from a retailer’s store instead of website, avoiding delivery costs is the main reason. When they choose to shop on a retailer’s website instead of in the store, 31% report that the availability of free delivery encouraged them to buy online.

Links of London online advertising
Links of London has revealed in Retail Week the kind of ROI it gets from paid search (PPC). Namely, 4.6. That's £46 of sales for every £10 spent, I'd assume.
Key to its is the use of landing pages for search vistors approaching lower-cost jewellery offerings, which presumably eases customer acquisition.
