We were co-panellists on the Business Analytics session at Magento’s annual Imagine conference in April 2015. The panel included Kevin Eichelberger, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Blue Acorn and Marcia Jung, Product Manager, Google Analytics and Roger Willcocks of Screen Pages. The theme of the panel was billed as: “with Magento platforms, there are at least three right ways to do any one thing, and analytics is no exception. Industry experts will debate the pros and cons of existing analytics systems that integrate with Magento.”
The focus was on using Google Analytics to improve e-commerce sales performance in Magento.
A whistle-stop, rapid fire tour of e-commerce tips and advice that retailers can implement on their e-commerce websites based our experience working with the creative, marketing, and technical teams of hundreds of niche retailers. The talk will cover practical examples of ways in which you can increase traffic, improve engagement and conversions and generate more sales from retail websites.

His theme was how to use Google Analytics to:
-understand & segment sources of traffic
-analyse mobile traffic
-where people land and where they go
-increase engagement/reduce bounce rates
-make navigation and search more effective
-understand checkout effectiveness
-reduce abandonment rates
Generally, 20 or so great ideas about how to use Google Analytics to improve sales and conversions on a Magento website.
Screen Pages was invited to speak at the Meet Magento conference in London, in November. Close to 400 people attended and many listened to Roger Willcocks present 50 hints and tips to increase the sales performance of your Magento e-commerce website.
