Tuesday 14th May 2024 saw our Breakfast Briefing event kick off with coffee, croissants and breakfast pastries at Dotdigitals panoramic offices overlooking the glorious City of London - ready to explore the world of Global eCommerce.
Our CEO, Sarah Willcocks opened the event with an insightful presentation on the challenges merchants face when expanding globally and how to overcome these.
Next up Georgia Leybourne from Linnworks gave an upbeat and animated presentation on overcoming growing pains by having a connected CommerceOps Strategy in place - with the obvious opening question Do You Know Your Customer?
Next to take centre stage was Niels Kolijn from Dotdigital who demonstrated how to turn visitors into loyal customers worldwide using digital marketing and on site personalisation.
And to complete the first half of the morning, Giles Eida from Reviews.io shared a thought provoking presentation on the power of reviews and user generated content.
After a 20 minute refresher to refill the coffee cups and grab a cookie or two, Laetitia Arfi from Global-e provided powerful data and insights in to which international markets presented the best opportunities for growth.
Concluding the morning, Alex Wright from Shopline walked us through how to expand our horizons by leveraging Shopline and Social Commerce for Global Success.
