King Apparel, the UK’s leading streetwear brand, launched a new full function website and e-commerce store designed and developed by Screen Pages, one of the UK’s leading Magento e-commerce agencies. The site can be visited at http://www.king-apparel.com

King Apparel has distinguished itself as one of the most successful British streetwear brands with a mantra of cutting edge designs, exclusive & limited quantity lines and an emphasis on quality and well-specified production. Founded in 2003 with funding from the Princes Trust, King is based in London’s East End, the company has grown significantly and now has over 120 stockists in the UK and outlets in all the major European markets and the USA. The brand has received strong endorsements from popular artists such as Plan B, Plastician, and Wretch32.

King’s product range includes both New Eras fitted caps and Starter snapback caps, cut and sew T-shirts and clothing and accessories.

The brief for the new website – developed on Magento– focussed on a clean design, clear navigation, easier shopping functionality for customers, better flexibility and control in content management and B2B functionality so that stockists can order online quickly and easily.

Tim Hoad, co-founder and director at King, said: “Online is becoming more and more important for us and our old shop was falling behind customer expectations. We approached Screen Pages because they are e-commerce professionals, strongly recommended by our peers and we liked their work for other quality clothing brands.”

Roger Willcocks, director of Screen Pages, said: “We are really excited to be working with King – it’s a great British success story with a cutting edge product that’s selling around the world. King’s founders have great ambitions and ideas about taking the company forward online, and we’re enjoying bringing our experience and insight into the mix.”
